-
Growth-oriented exercises
Faith integration is intended to support the client’s personal growth and relationship with God rather than replace the client’s own prayer, discernment, church community, pastoral relationships, or personal responsibility.

The provider does not claim to make decisions for clients or determine God's will on their behalf.

Complimentary Initial Consultation
Qualifying counseling and coaching packages begin with a complimentary 30-minute Initial Consultation before the scheduled program sessions begin.

The purpose of the consultation is to:

-
become acquainted with the client;
-
discuss current needs and concerns;
-
review relevant intake information;
-
identify goals and expectations;
-
discuss the structure of the selected program;
-
clarify communication and professional boundaries; and
-
determine appropriate areas of focus for the upcoming work.
The Initial Consultation is not counted as one of the sessions included in the purchased package unless otherwise specifically stated.

The consultation is also not a trial period and does not change the applicable payment or refund policy.

Scope of Services

Services provided through Becoming Unapologetically You Inc. are limited to the provider’s education, training, credentials, competencies, and professional role.

Unless expressly provided by an appropriately licensed professional, services offered through Becoming Unapologetically You Inc. should not be interpreted as:

-
psychiatric treatment;
-
medical care;
-
medication management;
-
emergency mental-health services;
-
inpatient treatment; or
-
services requiring a professional license not held by the provider.
Clients requiring services outside the provider’s scope may be encouraged or referred to seek assistance from an appropriately qualified or licensed professional.

Client Responsibility
Counseling and coaching are collaborative processes.
Clients remain responsible for their own:

-
decisions;
-
actions;
-
choices;
-
spiritual discernment;
-
business decisions;
-
financial decisions;
-
relationships; and
-
implementation of recommendations.
No particular personal, spiritual, professional, relational, financial, or business outcome can be guaranteed.

Progress often requires active participation between sessions, including reflection, prayer, exercises, action steps, or other agreed-upon assignments.

Scheduling
Clients are responsible for attending scheduled appointments on time.

Sessions generally begin and end at the agreed-upon time. Arriving late may reduce the amount of time available for the appointment.

Specific packages may contain different session lengths, frequencies, and program durations. Clients should review the description of their purchased service and their individual agreement.

Cancellations & Rescheduling
Clients should provide as much notice as reasonably possible when an appointment must be changed.

Repeated cancellations, missed appointments, or failure to participate may affect continuation within a program.

Package expiration dates, rescheduling requirements, or missed-session policies may be addressed within the client’s specific counseling/coaching agreement.

Communication Between Sessions
Some packages may include limited communication or check-ins between scheduled sessions.

Communication outside appointments is designed primarily for:

-
accountability;
-
clarification;
-
scheduling;
-
brief encouragement; or
-
program-related support.
Messaging is not intended to function as around-the-clock counseling, emergency intervention, or crisis care.

Response times may vary according to business hours, ministry responsibilities, scheduled appointments, holidays, travel, and other professional obligations.

Confidentiality & Privacy
Client information is treated with care and discretion.

However, confidentiality is not absolute. There may be situations in which information must be disclosed because of applicable law, safety considerations, legal process, or other professional obligations.

Specific confidentiality provisions and limitations are provided in the client’s Counseling/Coaching Agreement.

Emergencies & Crisis Situations
Becoming Unapologetically You Inc. does not provide emergency or crisis-response services through ordinary coaching/counseling appointments, email, social media, or text messaging.
Individuals experiencing an immediate emergency should seek appropriate emergency assistance in their location.

Referrals
A referral may be recommended when:

-
a client's needs exceed the provider’s scope;
-
specialized clinical treatment appears appropriate;
-
emergency or crisis intervention is required;
-
another professional discipline would better address the presenting concern; or
-
continuing the professional relationship would otherwise be inappropriate.
Referral is not a judgment against the client. It is an appropriate professional boundary when another form or level of support would better address the client’s needs.

Payment & Refunds
Payment and refund terms are governed by the Return & Refund Policy and any specific agreement associated with the purchased program.

Enrollment in a counseling or coaching program constitutes acknowledgment that the client has had access to the applicable program description and policies.
