Power of Consistency

"Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye steadfast, unmovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labor is not in vain in the Lord." -1 Corinthians 15:58

"Consistency of performance is essential. You don't have to be exceptional every week, but as a minimum, you need to be at a level that even on a bad day, you get points on the board." - Sean Dyche

A positive mindset and relevant action are vital to success; one critical ingredient people commonly miss is consistency. Start by changing your behavior if you find yourself in a position where things are not going as you want them to in your personal, spiritual, or occupational life. Ask yourself what you can do to make things flow better daily that helps get you closer to your end goal. Whatever plan you come up with, stick with it and make it something you follow through on consistently. Consistency is the difference between failure and success.

Consistency is adhering to the same principles steadfastly and unwaveringly. People can depend on you when you are consistent with whatever you do. They do not have to wonder if you're dependable or not because they know you can be trusted and whatever you said you would do, you will do it. A consistent person is not a wishy-washy person. He makes up his mind and sticks to what needs to be done.

I have made up in mind that if I'm going to do something, I do it, and I'm going to do it to the very best of my ability. If I say I'm going to be somewhere, I will get there, and I will get there on time. If I plan a new business venture, I will take the necessary steps and follow through until I see it manifest. Consistency is a must as you learn who you are, change things around you, and walk into the purpose that God has for your life.

God expects consistency from us because He is a consistent God. He's always showing up on our behalf, supplying our every need, loving us despite our many mistakes, and would not require us to do something He does not require Himself. We can depend on God because He is consistent and changes not! Every word of God is accurate and what He says He will do. Put GOD first in all you do; He'll never fail you!

His plans stand firm forever. You, I, and others might be inconsistent in many things in our lives, but God is never inconsistent in anything He does. God will do absolutely everything He said He would do, and all His promises are "Yea and Amen."
